The VERMONT GAGE 111101000 is a Class ZZ Plus plug gage designed for precision go inspection of small-diameter bores and holes. Manufactured from tool steel with a 10 microfinish surface, it measures a nominal diameter of 0.01 inches with a tolerance of 0.0002 inches. Each gage ships with a Certificate of Accuracy that includes NIST traceability, making it suitable for quality-controlled environments where documented calibration is required. The overall length is 2.0 inches. Licensed metrology technicians, machinists, and quality control professionals use this gage in production and inspection workflows where tight dimensional verification is critical.
This plug gage is suited for go inspection of precision-machined components with bore diameters at the 0.01-inch nominal size. It is also used to set and verify micrometers, verniers, and other measuring devices requiring a known reference standard. Typical applications include aerospace, medical device, and general precision machining environments where ASME B89.1 compliance is required. The small diameter and short body make it appropriate for use in benchtop inspection setups as well as in-process quality checks on the shop floor.
Designed for go inspection use with precision bores at 0.01-inch nominal diameter and for setting micrometers, verniers, and other measuring devices requiring a traceable reference standard. Meets ASME B89.1 requirements.
Handle plug gages with clean, dry hands or lint-free gloves to prevent corrosion from skin oils on the tool steel surface. Store in the provided case or a dry environment when not in use to preserve the 10 microfinish surface integrity. Do not force the gage into a bore; a go gage should pass under its own weight or light hand pressure only. Calibration verification should be performed at regular intervals per your quality management system requirements.
