The VARGUS 80190 is a straight flute thread mill designed for cutting 1/4-18 NPT threads in both external and internal applications. Built from micrograin solid carbide and coated with TiAlN for heat and wear resistance, this tool delivers consistent thread form in demanding production environments. It runs 5 flutes at 18 teeth per inch, with a 0.31-inch cutting diameter and a 0.555-inch length of cut. The 5/16-inch shank and 2.48-inch overall length make it compatible with standard CNC machining centers. It is used primarily by machinists and tooling professionals requiring reliable NPT thread milling in a single-tool operation.
