The VARGUS 52193 is a laydown-style threading insert designed for internal partial-profile 60-degree thread forms. Manufactured from solid carbide with a PVD-applied TiN (titanium nitride) coating, this insert delivers consistent thread geometry across a broad TPI range of 48 to 16 TPI, covering metric pitches from 0.50 mm to 1.50 mm. The right-hand cut orientation and 3/8-inch (9.53 mm) inscribed circle fit standard boring bar and threading toolholders. Insert thickness is 3.60 mm. This insert is suited for machinists and toolroom technicians running internal threading operations on CNC lathes and turning centers.
