The VANCO 820490X is a white keystone-style HDMI pigtail insert designed for flush wall-plate installations in low-voltage audio-visual systems. The insert accepts a standard keystone snap-in cutout and terminates with a short HDMI pigtail lead, allowing an HDMI cable run to terminate cleanly at a wall plate without exposed connectors or field-terminated ends. Low-voltage installers and AV technicians use this insert to deliver a finished, professional appearance in residential and light commercial signal distribution installations.
This insert is suited for residential home theater rough-ins, conference room AV buildouts, and any installation where HDMI signals need a clean pass-through point at a wall, floor box, or structured-media enclosure. The white finish matches standard white keystone wall plates commonly found in residential wiring. It fits into any standard single-port keystone wall plate or multi-port keystone patch panel opening.
Designed as an OEM-style snap-in for standard keystone wall plates, surface-mount boxes, and multi-port keystone patch panels used in low-voltage HDMI distribution applications.
Installation is typically performed by a low-voltage AV technician or structured-wiring installer. Snap the insert firmly into the keystone opening until it clicks and seats flush with the wall plate. Ensure the in-wall HDMI cable run has sufficient slack at the box to allow the pigtail connection to be made before seating the plate. Follow local low-voltage wiring codes and keep HDMI runs separated from line-voltage wiring per NEC guidelines for Class 2 circuits.
