The VANCO 820024 is a modular keystone patch panel designed for structured cabling installations in rack-mounted enclosures. It accepts standard keystone-style inserts, allowing technicians to configure port layouts for voice, data, or multimedia applications from a single panel. The panel mounts in a standard EIA 19-inch rack or patch panel enclosure and serves as a central termination point for low-voltage structured wiring runs. Licensed low-voltage technicians and network installers are the primary trade audience for this component.
The 820024 fits into rackmount accessory applications in commercial and residential structured cabling environments. It is used wherever a clean, organized termination point is required for data or communication cabling. Typical installations include server rooms, telecommunications closets, home automation panels, and AV rack systems where multiple cable runs need to be managed and labeled at a central point.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation component for standard 19-inch EIA rackmount enclosures accepting modular keystone patch panels.
Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage technician or qualified network cabling professional. De-energize any active equipment in the rack before mounting or terminating cables at the panel. Follow TIA-568 structured cabling standards for punch-down and termination practices. Secure the panel to the rack using appropriate rack screws before inserting keystone modules or routing cable.
