The VALUE COLLECTION ZSNYDS2-5 is a standard partially insulated fork terminal designed for crimp-style wire termination in electrical wiring applications. Rated at 600 volts, this terminal accepts wire sizes from 1.50 to 2.50 square millimeters and features a nylon insulation sleeve in blue for easy identification during installation. The copper contact provides reliable conductivity at the connection point. With an overall length of 0.976 inches and a fork width of 0.311 inches, this terminal is sized for a No. 10 stud. Electricians and panel technicians use this type of terminal to create clean, secure lug connections on terminal blocks, bus bars, and equipment lugs.
This fork terminal is suited for residential and light commercial electrical wiring, control panel assembly, and equipment termination work. The partially insulated nylon sleeve covers the barrel while leaving the fork exposed for stud mounting. The blue color coding corresponds to the compatible wire gauge range, helping installers quickly sort terminals during high-volume wiring jobs. It is a standard production terminal used in panel shops, motor control centers, and field wiring applications where crimp-style connections are specified.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-use fork terminal for crimp applications on No. 10 studs in residential and commercial electrical wiring and control panel assemblies.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating any wires. Use a calibrated ratcheting crimp tool rated for the wire gauge and terminal type to ensure a proper mechanical and electrical connection. Do not solder over a crimped terminal, as this can create a stress point and degrade long-term connection integrity.
