The VALUE COLLECTION ZSNYDS1-5 is a standard fork terminal designed for crimped electrical connections in control wiring, panel wiring, and general low-voltage circuit terminations. It features a partially insulated nylon sleeve in red, which aids in quick visual identification during installation and service. The terminal is rated for 600 volts and accepts wire sizes from 0.50 to 1.50 square millimeters. The copper contact material ensures reliable conductivity at the crimp point. Electricians and control technicians use this terminal to land wires on screw studs in panels, terminal blocks, and equipment enclosures where a secure, vibration-resistant connection is required.
This fork terminal is suited for residential and light commercial electrical applications including control panels, HVAC low-voltage wiring, and equipment terminations that use a number 10 stud size. The red color coding corresponds to the standard color convention for smaller wire gauge ranges, making it easy to sort and identify terminations during installation or troubleshooting. The crimp connection style is compatible with standard hand crimp tools and ratcheting crimpers sized for the 0.50 to 1.50 square millimeter wire range.
Designed as a standard replacement or stocking fork terminal for use with number 10 studs and wire sizes from 0.50 to 1.50 square millimeters in residential and light commercial electrical and control wiring applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician or qualified control technician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating or removing any wiring. Use a crimp tool rated for the wire size and terminal type to ensure a proper mechanical and electrical connection. Do not over-crimp or use mismatched tooling, as this can damage the nylon insulation sleeve or deform the copper contact.
