The VALUE COLLECTION ZRVY1-6 is a partially insulated circular ring terminal designed for crimp connections on copper wire conductors. It accepts wire gauges from 22 to 16 AWG (0.50 to 1.50 sq mm) and uses a vinyl insulation sleeve finished in red for quick visual identification of the compatible wire range. The terminal body is copper construction measuring 1.197 inches in overall length and 0.457 inches in ring width, with a stud hole sized for a 1/4-inch fastener. Electricians and panel technicians use this terminal to create reliable, vibration-resistant ring-lug connections at terminal blocks, ground studs, and equipment chassis points.
This terminal is suited for low-voltage control wiring, instrumentation circuits, and general electrical panel work where a secure mechanical and electrical connection to a threaded stud or screw is required. The red vinyl sleeve aligns with the standard color-coding convention for 22 to 16 AWG terminals, making sorting and inspection straightforward on the bench or in the field. It is appropriate for both residential and light commercial applications involving control boards, HVAC equipment wiring, and similar trade installations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-stock ring terminal compatible with 22 to 16 AWG copper conductors terminated at 1/4-inch studs or screws in electrical panels, control enclosures, and equipment chassis.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating or replacing any ring terminal. Use a calibrated ratcheting crimp tool rated for the terminal and wire gauge being used — an improper crimp is a primary cause of connection failure. Inspect the insulation sleeve after crimping to confirm it is intact and fully seated against the wire jacket.
