The VALUE COLLECTION ZRNYD2-6-25PK is a partially insulated circular ring terminal designed for crimp connections on 16 to 14 AWG copper wire. The contact is made from copper and the insulation sleeve is nylon, colored blue for quick visual identification during wiring work. Each terminal measures 1.197 inches in overall length and 0.472 inches in ring width, with a material thickness of 0.031 inches. It accepts a 1/4 inch stud. Sold in packs of 25, this terminal is suited for high-volume wiring tasks where consistent, reliable terminations are required. Electricians and panel wiring technicians use these on control wiring, low-voltage circuits, and general branch circuit terminations.
This ring terminal is appropriate for residential and commercial electrical applications where 16 to 14 AWG wire is terminated to a screw or stud connection. Typical uses include control panel wiring, HVAC low-voltage circuits, motor control centers, and general electrical enclosure work. The blue color coding aligns with standard industry color conventions for the 16 to 14 AWG wire range, making wire gauge identification fast during installation and service. The crimp connection method provides a gas-tight termination that resists vibration and pull-out when properly applied with the correct crimping tool.
Designed for use with 16 to 14 AWG (1.50 to 2.50 sq mm) wire and 1/4 inch mounting studs, suitable as a standard ring terminal in residential and commercial electrical panel and control wiring applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating or inspecting any connections. Use a calibrated ratcheting crimp tool rated for insulated ring terminals in the 16 to 14 AWG range to ensure a proper gas-tight crimp. Do not solder over a crimped connection, as this can create a stress point and compromise the termination.
