The VALUE COLLECTION ZRNYD2-10 is a partially insulated circular ring terminal designed for crimp connections on 16 to 14 AWG copper wire. The terminal body is copper with a nylon insulation sleeve and is color-coded blue for quick AWG identification in the field. It measures 1.343 inches in overall length and 0.535 inches in ring width, with a material thickness of 0.031 inches. The 3/8-inch stud size makes it suitable for securing wire runs to bus bars, grounding lugs, and equipment terminals. Licensed electricians and low-voltage technicians typically install these terminals using a ratcheting crimp tool during panel wiring, control panel assembly, and equipment termination work.
This ring terminal is used in residential and light commercial electrical installations wherever a secure, permanent ring-style wire termination is needed. Typical applications include control wiring in HVAC equipment, panel board connections, grounding circuits, and low-voltage terminal blocks. The partially insulated nylon sleeve protects the wire barrel while leaving the ring exposed for stud mounting, making it practical for tight terminal arrangements where full insulation would interfere with the mounting surface.
Designed as an OEM-style ring terminal for use with 16 to 14 AWG stranded or solid copper wire in standard crimp termination applications requiring a 3/8-inch stud size.
Install using a properly sized ratcheting or hex crimp tool rated for the wire gauge being terminated. De-energize and lock out all circuits before making or removing any wire terminations. Ensure the wire is stripped to the correct length so the conductor fully seats in the barrel before crimping. Follow applicable NEC requirements for terminal torque at the stud fastener.
