The VALUE COLLECTION ZRNYD2-10-HD is a partially insulated circular ring terminal designed for crimped electrical connections on 16 to 14 AWG copper wire. The terminal body measures 1.343 inches in overall length and 0.535 inches in ring width, with a contact thickness of 0.031 inches. The copper contact and nylon insulation sleeve are color-coded blue for quick AWG identification during installation. Electricians and panel technicians use this terminal to terminate stranded or solid wire to stud-mounted lugs, bus bars, terminal blocks, and equipment grounding points. The partially insulated design leaves the barrel open for visual inspection of the crimp.
This ring terminal is suited for residential and light commercial electrical work, control panel wiring, HVAC low-voltage circuits, and equipment grounding applications. The 10.50 mm stud size opening accommodates standard metric fasteners commonly found on terminal blocks, motor leads, and control boards. The nylon insulation provides basic protection against abrasion and accidental contact at the wire entry point while keeping the ring portion exposed for secure fastening under a lug or bolt head.
Designed as a standard crimp-style ring terminal compatible with 16 to 14 AWG stranded or solid copper wire applications requiring a partially insulated circular terminal.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians or qualified technicians following applicable NEC requirements. De-energize all circuits before terminating or disturbing wiring. Use a calibrated ratchet crimping tool rated for insulated terminals in the 16 to 14 AWG range to achieve a gas-tight crimp — do not use pliers or non-ratcheting tools as under-crimping can cause high-resistance connections or pull-out failures. Inspect the barrel visually through the open ring end to confirm full wire insertion before crimping.
