The VALUE COLLECTION ZRN2-6 is a non-insulated circular ring terminal designed for crimp-style wire termination in electrical wiring applications. It accepts 16 to 14 AWG conductors and fits a 1/4-inch stud, making it a standard choice for grounding connections, panel wiring, and equipment terminations. The contact is copper with a thickness of 0.031 inches, providing reliable conductivity in low-voltage and control-circuit installations. The terminal measures 0.917 inches in overall length and 0.472 inches in ring width. UL Listed and RoHS Compliant, it meets common quality and environmental standards expected in professional electrical work.
This ring terminal is suited for residential and commercial electrical installations where uninsulated terminations are appropriate and insulation is provided separately by heat shrink or other means. Typical applications include control panel wiring, grounding lugs, motor connections, and general wire-to-stud terminations in enclosures and junction boxes. Licensed electricians and control panel builders regularly use terminals of this type when assembling or servicing equipment that requires secure, low-profile ring connections.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation ring terminal for use with 16 to 14 AWG conductors on 1/4-inch stud fasteners in standard electrical enclosures, control panels, and grounding applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize the circuit and verify zero voltage before terminating or re-terminating any conductor. Use a calibrated ratcheting crimp tool sized for the wire gauge and terminal barrel to ensure a gas-tight mechanical connection. Do not solder over a crimped non-insulated terminal without verifying compatibility with the application, as solder joints can introduce brittleness under vibration.
