The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCVB75131 is a Dash 131 Viton fluoroelastomer O-ring designed for static and dynamic sealing applications in fluid and gas systems. It measures 1.688 inches inside diameter, 1.875 inches outside diameter, and 0.094 inches thick with a round cross section. The fluoroelastomer compound delivers a Shore A hardness of 75, a working temperature range of -15 to 400 degrees F, low compression set, and low gas permeability. These properties make it well-suited for service in environments where petroleum-based fluids, high heat, or chemical exposure would degrade standard nitrile or EPDM seals. Sold in a package of 10 rings.
This O-ring sees use across HVAC, plumbing, hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial fluid-handling systems wherever a Dash 131 cross-section seal is specified. Typical install scenarios include pump and valve body assemblies, refrigerant service fittings, fuel system connections, and vacuum service lines. The brown fluoroelastomer material is particularly appropriate in petroleum product service and in applications requiring resistance to a wide spectrum of chemicals. It is not FDA approved and should not be used in potable water or food-contact applications.
Designed as a standard Dash 131 O-ring replacement compatible with AS568 groove geometries calling for a 1.688 inch ID, 1.875 inch OD, and approximately 0.094 inch cross-section thickness in fluoroelastomer material. Compatible with petroleum product service environments.
A licensed mechanic, HVAC technician, or plumber should depressurize and drain the system before removing the old seal. Clean the groove and mating surfaces thoroughly and inspect for nicks or corrosion that could compromise the new seal. Apply a thin film of compatible lubricant to the O-ring before installation to prevent tearing during assembly. Do not use petroleum-based lubricants in systems where they are incompatible with other seals or media present.
