The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCVB75128 is a Dash 128 Viton (fluoroelastomer) O-ring designed for static and dynamic sealing applications where elevated temperatures and petroleum-based fluid exposure are primary concerns. With a 1.5-inch inside diameter, 1.688-inch outside diameter, and a 0.094-inch cross-section thickness, this round-profile ring seats into standard Dash 128 grooves. The fluoroelastomer compound delivers a hardness rating of 75 durometer, placing it in the hard range for firm compression sealing. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and hydraulic equipment technicians install these rings where chemical compatibility and thermal durability are required. Each package contains 25 rings.
This O-ring is suited for sealing applications involving petroleum products, hydraulic fluids, fuels, and a wide spectrum of industrial chemicals. It performs across a working temperature range of -15 degrees F to 400 degrees F, making it appropriate for high-heat service environments such as fuel systems, refrigeration equipment valves, hydraulic fittings, and industrial fluid handling assemblies. The brown fluoroelastomer construction provides low gas permeability, making it a practical choice for vacuum service applications as well.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or maintenance-stock O-ring for standard Dash 128 groove applications involving petroleum products, hydraulic fluids, fuels, and high-temperature fluid systems. Not FDA approved; not intended for food-contact or potable-water service.
Shut down and depressurize the system fully before replacing any O-ring seals. Inspect the mating groove for nicks, burrs, or contamination that could compromise the seal surface. Apply a compatible lubricant sparingly to the ring before installation to prevent pinching or tearing during assembly. Consult applicable codes such as the IPC or IFGC for sealing requirements specific to the system type being serviced.
