The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCV70913 is a Dash 913 Viton (fluoroelastomer) O-ring designed for use as a boss gasket on straight-thread tube fittings. It measures 0.986 inches inside diameter, 1.218 inches outside diameter, and 0.116 inches thick, with a round cross section. The 70-durometer hardness rating places it in the hard range, providing reliable sealing under mechanical load. Its fluoroelastomer compound delivers low compression set and high temperature resistance, rated from -15 degrees F to 400 degrees F. Licensed technicians and tradespeople working on hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, or refrigerant line assemblies will find this a direct-fit static seal for SAE straight-thread ports.
This O-ring is well suited for plumbing, HVAC, and fluid-power applications where petroleum-based fluids, fuels, or high-temperature service conditions are present. Its wide spectrum of chemical compatibility and low gas permeability make it appropriate for vacuum service lines and fuel system connections. Each package contains 25 O-rings, making it practical for shops and field technicians who service multiple fittings per job. It is not FDA approved, so it is not intended for food-contact or potable-water applications.
Designed as a boss gasket for SAE straight-thread tube fittings using Dash 913 O-ring sizing. Compatible with petroleum products and applications requiring high-temperature fluoroelastomer seals. Not FDA approved; not suitable for potable water or food-contact service.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or fluid-power mechanics. Shut down the system and relieve all line pressure before removing or replacing O-rings at any fitting. Lubricate the O-ring lightly with a compatible fluid before seating it in the boss groove to prevent pinching or tearing during assembly. Do not reuse a compressed or extruded O-ring; replace with a new seal whenever a fitting is broken down.
