The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCV70433 is a Dash 433 Viton (fluoroelastomer) O-ring designed for static and dynamic sealing applications across HVAC, plumbing, and industrial fluid systems. With a 5.5-inch inside diameter, 6-inch outside diameter, and 0.25-inch cross-section thickness, this round-profile ring delivers a reliable seal in high-temperature and chemically demanding environments. The compound is rated for continuous service from -15 degrees F to 400 degrees F and carries a hardness rating of 70 Shore A. Sold in a package of 2.
This O-ring is suited for use in pump housings, valve bodies, flanged connections, and equipment serviced by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals. The fluoroelastomer compound performs well in contact with petroleum-based fluids, making it appropriate for oil-side sealing in compressors, hydraulic assemblies, and fuel-handling components. Its low gas permeability also makes it a reliable choice for vacuum service applications.
Designed as a standard Dash 433 O-ring replacement for grooves machined to AS568 Dash 433 dimensions, compatible with systems handling petroleum products and other fluids within the chemical resistance range of fluoroelastomer compounds.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, HVAC technician, or industrial maintenance mechanic. Depressurize and isolate the system before removing the existing O-ring. Lightly lubricate the O-ring with a fluid compatible with fluoroelastomer prior to seating to reduce the risk of tearing during installation. Do not use petroleum-based lubricants unless confirmed compatible with the system fluid and seal compound.
