The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCV70362 is a Dash 362 Viton (fluoroelastomer) O-ring designed for static and dynamic sealing applications in demanding service environments. It measures 6.25 inches inside diameter, 6.625 inches outside diameter, and 0.1875 inches thick, with a round cross section and a Shore hardness rating of 70. The fluoroelastomer compound delivers high-temperature resistance up to 400 degrees F and a low-temperature rating down to -15 degrees F. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals install this O-ring where petroleum-based fluids, fuels, and elevated temperatures exceed the capability of standard Buna-N seals.
This O-ring is suited for residential and commercial plumbing systems, HVAC refrigerant circuits, fuel handling equipment, hydraulic assemblies, and vacuum service applications. Its fluoroelastomer construction makes it a preferred choice over EPDM or Buna-N in environments with petroleum products, oils, and a wide spectrum of chemical media. The round cross-section profile seats reliably in standard AN and SAE dash 362 O-ring grooves without modification.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service seal for any application requiring a standard Dash 362 O-ring groove with fluoroelastomer material compatibility, including petroleum product systems, hydraulic assemblies, and vacuum service equipment.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, HVAC technician, or mechanical maintenance professional following applicable codes and equipment service manuals. Depressurize and isolate the system before removing the old O-ring, and verify the groove dimensions match the Dash 362 profile before installing. Apply a light coat of compatible lubricant to the O-ring during installation to prevent tearing and aid seating. Inspect the mating groove surfaces for nicks or corrosion that could compromise the seal.
