The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCV70334 is a Dash 334 Viton (fluoroelastomer) O-ring with a round cross section, rated for static and dynamic sealing applications where petroleum-based fluid exposure and elevated temperatures are a concern. The inside diameter measures 2.625 inches, outside diameter measures 3.0 inches, and wall thickness is 0.1875 inches. Hardness is rated at 70 Shore A, placing it in the hard durometer range. This package contains 10 O-rings. Installation is performed by qualified plumbers, pipefitters, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance mechanics working on fluid and gas handling systems.
This O-ring is suited for use in hydraulic systems, pneumatic assemblies, fuel-handling circuits, chemical processing lines, and HVAC refrigerant or fluid circuits where high-temperature and chemical resistance are required. The fluoroelastomer compound performs reliably in environments with petroleum products, making it a common choice for pump seals, valve stems, flanged connections, and fittings operating at elevated temperatures or under vacuum conditions. Residential and commercial applications are both within scope depending on the system configuration.
Designed as a standard Dash 334 replacement O-ring compatible with grooves and fittings dimensioned to accept a 2.625-inch ID by 3.0-inch OD by 0.1875-inch cross section seal in systems handling petroleum products, fuels, or high-temperature process fluids.
Depressurize and lock out the system before removing any existing seals or fittings. Inspect the O-ring groove for scoring, corrosion, or debris before installing the new ring; a damaged groove will cause premature seal failure. Apply a compatible lubricant to the O-ring to ease installation and prevent twisting or rolling during assembly. Ensure the O-ring seats fully and evenly in the groove before reassembling the joint and returning the system to service.
