The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCV70280 is a Dash 280 Viton fluoroelastomer O-ring designed for static and dynamic sealing applications requiring broad chemical resistance and reliable performance across a wide temperature range. With a 14 inch inside diameter, 14.25 inch outside diameter, and a 0.125 inch thick round cross section, this O-ring fits large-bore sealing applications common in industrial, mechanical, and fluid-handling systems. The fluoroelastomer compound delivers low compression set and high temperature resistance up to 400 degrees F, making it suitable for demanding service environments where standard rubber seals fall short. Licensed tradespeople and maintenance technicians working with petroleum-based fluids will find this an appropriate sealing solution.
This O-ring is suited for use in systems that handle petroleum products, fuels, lubricants, and a wide spectrum of industrial chemicals. Its low gas permeability and compatibility with vacuum service make it applicable in pump housings, valve bonnets, flanged connections, and similar large-diameter sealing interfaces in industrial plumbing, mechanical, and process-equipment applications. The hardness rating of 70 Shore A provides a firm seal with minimal cold flow. This part ships in a package quantity of two.
Designed as a standard Dash 280 O-ring for large-bore sealing applications in equipment and systems that specify a 14 inch ID fluoroelastomer seal. Compatible with petroleum products, fuels, and many industrial fluid media. Not FDA approved.
Installation should be performed by a qualified mechanic or maintenance technician familiar with large-bore sealing procedures. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing any existing seals or disassembling flanged connections. Inspect the mating groove for nicks, corrosion, or surface damage before installing the replacement O-ring. Avoid using sharp tools that may nick or cut the O-ring during installation, and do not twist the ring in the groove.
