The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCV70261 is a Dash 261 Viton O-ring manufactured from fluoroelastomer compound with a 70-durometer hardness rating. It measures 6.75 inches inside diameter, 7.0 inches outside diameter, and 0.125 inches thick with a round cross section. Fluoroelastomer construction delivers strong resistance to petroleum-based fluids, low compression set, and sustained performance across a wide temperature range of -15 degrees F to 400 degrees F. This O-ring is suited for static and dynamic sealing applications in HVAC, plumbing, and industrial systems where chemical compatibility and high-temperature resilience are required. Each package includes 2 O-rings.
This O-ring is designed for sealing applications involving petroleum products, hydraulic fluids, and related media in residential and commercial systems. Its fluoroelastomer construction makes it appropriate for use in pump housings, valve bodies, manifolds, and fluid handling components where standard BUNA-N or EPDM materials fall short. The low gas permeability characteristic also makes it suitable for vacuum service applications. Installers working on HVAC refrigerant circuits, hydronic systems, or industrial fluid lines will recognize the Dash 261 sizing as a standard static face-seal or gland-seal dimension.
Designed as a standard Dash 261 O-ring replacement for glands and grooves requiring a 6.75-inch inside diameter, 7.0-inch outside diameter, and 0.125-inch cross section thickness in fluoroelastomer-compatible sealing applications involving petroleum-based media.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with the sealing system being serviced. Always depressurize and de-energize the system before removing the existing O-ring, and inspect the gland groove for scoring or damage prior to seating the new ring. Lubricate the O-ring with a compatible lubricant before installation to reduce the risk of tearing during assembly. Do not use petroleum-based lubricants if the application fluid is incompatible with cross-contamination.
