The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCV70216 is a Dash 216 Viton fluoroelastomer O-ring designed for static and dynamic sealing applications in fluid and gas systems. It measures 1.125 inches inside diameter, 1.375 inches outside diameter, and 0.125 inches thick with a round cross section. The 70-durometer hardness rating places it in the hard category, providing good resistance to compression set and deformation under sustained load. With a temperature range of -15 degrees F to 400 degrees F, this O-ring is well-suited for high-heat environments where standard nitrile or EPDM compounds would fail. Sold in a package of 50 units.
This O-ring is commonly installed in HVAC equipment, plumbing assemblies, hydraulic fittings, fuel system components, and industrial valve and pump housings. Its fluoroelastomer compound performs reliably in contact with petroleum products, fuels, oils, and a wide spectrum of chemicals. The low gas permeability characteristic makes it appropriate for vacuum service and gas-handling applications. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals specify Viton O-rings in this size range when elevated temperature resistance or petroleum-fluid compatibility is required.
Designed as a standard Dash 216 O-ring replacement for any groove machined to AS568 Dash 216 dimensions. Compatible with systems handling petroleum products, fuels, and oils where fluoroelastomer material is specified.
Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial mechanics typically install O-rings of this type. Depressurize and drain the system completely before replacing any O-ring in a pressurized fluid or gas circuit. Inspect the groove for nicks, burrs, or scoring before seating the new ring. Lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid or grease rated for fluoroelastomer compounds; do not use petroleum-based lubricants if the system fluid is incompatible with such additives.
