The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCV70043 is a Dash 043 Viton (fluoroelastomer) O-ring with a round cross section, sized at 3.5 inches inside diameter, 3.625 inches outside diameter, and 0.0625 inches thick. Rated at 70 Shore A hardness, this O-ring is engineered for static and dynamic sealing applications where elevated temperatures and chemical resistance are essential. It handles continuous service from -15 degrees F up to 400 degrees F and delivers low gas permeability suitable for vacuum service. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals use fluoroelastomer O-rings where standard nitrile or EPDM materials would fail under heat or petroleum exposure. Each package contains 10 O-rings.
This O-ring is suited for residential and commercial HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, and industrial fluid systems where petroleum-based fluids, fuels, lubricants, or high-temperature media are present. Its wide spectrum of chemical compatibility makes it a reliable choice for fuel delivery components, pump seals, valve stems, and hydraulic fittings. The Dash 043 designation is a standard AS568 size, making it straightforward to cross-reference against existing seal inventories. It is not FDA approved and is not intended for food-contact or pharmaceutical applications.
Designed as a standard Dash 043 AS568-sized replacement O-ring compatible with petroleum products and suitable for use in HVAC, plumbing, hydraulic, and fuel system sealing applications where fluoroelastomer material is specified.
O-ring replacement is typically performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or qualified maintenance personnel. Always depressurize the system and shut off all fluid supply before breaking any seal joint. Inspect the groove and mating surfaces for nicks, burrs, or contamination before seating the new O-ring. Avoid rolling or twisting the O-ring during installation; use a compatible lubricant approved for fluoroelastomer compounds and the media being sealed.
