The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCV3X30 is a Viton (fluoroelastomer) O-ring designed for static and dynamic sealing applications that demand resistance to elevated temperatures and aggressive fluids. It measures 30 inches inside diameter, 36 inches outside diameter, and 3 inches thick with a round cross section. The compound carries a Shore A hardness of 75, placing it in the hard range, which helps maintain seal integrity under compression. Rated for service from -15 degrees F to 400 degrees F, this O-ring is a dependable choice wherever thermal cycling and petroleum-based fluid exposure are primary concerns.
This O-ring is suited for industrial sealing applications involving petroleum products, hydraulic fluids, and chemical process media. Its large diameter makes it appropriate for flanged connections, large-bore cylinder heads, tank covers, and similar heavy-equipment joints in industrial and manufacturing environments. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and millwrights working on large-diameter fluid systems are the typical installers. The fluoroelastomer formulation also supports vacuum service and delivers low gas permeability, extending its usefulness to pneumatic and vacuum system applications.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation seal for large-diameter flanged and gasketed connections where fluoroelastomer O-rings with a 30-inch inside diameter are specified. Compatible with petroleum products and a wide range of chemical media per supplier documentation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter, plumber, or millwright following applicable codes such as ASME or ANSI piping standards for the system being serviced. De-pressurize and drain the system fully before removing any existing seal or cover. Inspect the groove for scoring, corrosion, or debris before seating the O-ring; a damaged groove will compromise the seal regardless of O-ring condition. Do not use sharp tools to seat the ring, and avoid twisting or stretching beyond what is required for installation.
