The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCV2X16 is a Viton (fluoroelastomer) O-ring with a round cross section, designed for static and dynamic sealing applications in demanding environments. With a 16-inch inside diameter, 20-inch outside diameter, and 2-inch thickness, this O-ring handles high-temperature and chemically aggressive service conditions. The fluoroelastomer compound delivers low compression set, high-temperature resistance up to 400 degrees F, and broad chemical compatibility. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and industrial maintenance technicians commonly specify Viton O-rings where standard nitrile or EPDM compounds fall short. Package quantity is 25 pieces per order.
This O-ring is suited for large-bore flanged connections, valve stems, pump housings, and process piping sealing applications in industrial, HVAC, and plumbing systems where petroleum-based fluids, solvents, or elevated temperatures are present. Its working temperature range of -15 degrees F to 400 degrees F makes it appropriate for both cold and hot fluid service. The material also performs well in vacuum service applications due to low gas permeability. Typical installations include petroleum process lines, fuel handling systems, and chemical transfer piping.
Compatible with petroleum products and applications requiring resistance to high temperatures and a wide spectrum of chemicals. Designed for use in standard O-ring groove configurations accepting a 16-inch ID, 20-inch OD, 2-inch cross-section Viton seal. Not FDA approved; verify suitability before use in food-contact or pharmaceutical applications.
Installation is typically performed by licensed pipefitters, plumbers, or industrial maintenance technicians. Always depressurize, drain, and isolate the line or assembly before removing the existing seal. Inspect the groove for nicks, corrosion, or debris before seating the new O-ring. Avoid twisting or spiraling the O-ring during installation, and use only lubricants compatible with fluoroelastomer compounds and the process fluid.
