The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCV1.6X13.1 is a heavy-duty Viton (fluoroelastomer) O-ring with a round cross section, designed for static and dynamic sealing applications that demand high-temperature resistance and broad chemical compatibility. It measures 13.1 inches inside diameter, 16.3 inches outside diameter, and 1.6 inches thick. With a durometer hardness of 75 Shore A and a working temperature range of -15 degrees F to 400 degrees F, this O-ring is built for demanding industrial and mechanical sealing environments. Plumbers, pipefitters, and maintenance technicians working with petroleum-handling systems, chemical process equipment, or high-temperature fluid lines commonly specify this profile.
This O-ring is suited for large-bore sealing tasks in industrial piping, valve assemblies, pump housings, and fluid transfer systems where petroleum products, hydraulic fluids, or elevated temperatures are present. Its fluoroelastomer compound delivers low compression set, meaning the ring maintains sealing force over extended service cycles. The low gas permeability rating also makes it appropriate for vacuum service applications. It is not FDA approved and should not be used in food-contact or potable-water applications.
Compatible with petroleum products and a wide spectrum of industrial chemicals and hydraulic fluids. Designed as an OEM-style replacement or maintenance seal for large-bore industrial valves, pump housings, and piping flanges requiring a fluoroelastomer compound. Not approved for FDA-regulated food or potable-water contact applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter, millwright, or maintenance technician. Depressurize and drain the system before removing the existing seal or installing a new one. Inspect the O-ring groove for surface damage, burrs, or corrosion before seating the ring. Apply a compatible lubricant to ease installation and avoid twisting or rolling the O-ring in the groove, as improper seating causes premature seal failure.
