The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCU70210 is a Dash 210 polyurethane O-ring used to create reliable fluid seals in hydraulic, pneumatic, and general mechanical assemblies. It measures 0.75 inches inside diameter, 1.00 inches outside diameter, and 0.125 inches thick with a round cross section. Rated at 70 Shore A hardness, this O-ring handles a wide service temperature range from -60 degrees F to 200 degrees F. It resists petroleum oils, hydrocarbon fuels, oxygen, ozone, and general weathering, making it a practical choice for fuel system and hydraulic sealing applications. Plumbers, millwrights, and HVAC technicians commonly specify polyurethane O-rings where abrasion resistance and fuel compatibility are priorities. Sold in a package of 10.
This O-ring suits static and dynamic sealing applications in residential and light industrial equipment. Typical uses include hydraulic cylinder rod seals, fluid fittings, valve stems, and fuel system connections where petroleum-based media is present. Polyurethane construction provides higher abrasion and extrusion resistance compared to standard Buna-N compounds, making it well suited to higher-pressure dynamic applications. Note that this material is not recommended for use with acids, ketones, or chlorinated hydrocarbons, and some polyurethane compounds may show sensitivity to water and humidity exposure over time.
Compatible with petroleum oils and hydrocarbon fuels. Designed as a standard Dash 210 O-ring replacement suitable for hydraulic, pneumatic, and fuel system assemblies that require polyurethane sealing material.
Depressurize and isolate the system before removing any existing seals. Inspect the O-ring groove for burrs, corrosion, or scoring that could damage the new seal. Lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid before installation to prevent tearing during assembly. Avoid contact with ketones, chlorinated solvents, or strong acids, which will degrade polyurethane compounds.
