The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCU70011 is a Dash 011 polyurethane O-ring used to create static or dynamic fluid seals in hydraulic, pneumatic, and fuel-handling assemblies. It measures 0.313 inches inside diameter, 0.438 inches outside diameter, and 0.0625 inches thick with a round cross section. Molded from 70-durometer polyurethane, this O-ring resists petroleum oils, hydrocarbon fuels, oxygen, ozone, and general weathering. The hard rating and polyurethane compound make it a practical choice where rubber O-rings would degrade prematurely in fuel or oil contact. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and fluid-power mechanics install this type of seal in valves, fittings, pumps, and manifold assemblies. It is not recommended for use with acids, ketones, or chlorinated hydrocarbons. Some polyurethane formulations are also sensitive to water and humidity exposure.
This O-ring is suited for residential and commercial service applications involving petroleum-based fluids and hydrocarbon fuels. Common install locations include fuel shutoff valves, hydraulic cylinder end caps, pneumatic fittings, and plumbing union seals. The Dash 011 designation is a standard AS568 size code, making this a straightforward replacement in any groove machined or specified to that standard. It is sold in a package quantity of ten, which is practical for service trucks or shop inventory where multiple seals of this size are consumed regularly.
Designed as a standard AS568 Dash 011 replacement O-ring for any valve, fitting, pump, or manifold groove machined to that size specification. Compatible with petroleum oils and hydrocarbon fuels. Not compatible with acids, ketones, or chlorinated hydrocarbons.
Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and fluid-power mechanics install O-rings of this type. Always depressurize and de-energize the system before removing any fitting or valve. Inspect the groove for nicks, burrs, or corrosion before seating the new O-ring. Lightly lubricate with a compatible petroleum-based grease to aid installation and prevent pinching; avoid silicone lubricants or any fluid incompatible with polyurethane.
