The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCTST010 is a Dash 010 O-ring made from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), a high-performance fluoropolymer widely used in demanding fluid and gas sealing applications. This O-ring measures 0.265 inches inner diameter, 0.371 inches outer diameter, and 0.048 inches thick with a rectangular cross section. The PTFE compound delivers a medium durometer hardness of 55 and a working temperature range of -65 to 500 degrees F, making it suitable where standard Buna-N or EPDM materials fall short. Each order is fulfilled as a pack of 50 pieces, suitable for stocking service vans or shop bins. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance techs are the primary installers of this component.
PTFE O-rings in the Dash 010 size are commonly specified in small-bore valve assemblies, refrigerant service fittings, chemical metering systems, and instrumentation connections. Their chemical inertness makes them a practical choice in applications involving aggressive media such as refrigerants, solvents, fuels, and acids. This size is also used in pneumatic and hydraulic control circuits where a low-compression-set seal is required at elevated temperatures. Residential and light commercial HVAC service, plumbing fixture repair, and process piping are all typical installation environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement PTFE O-ring for any application requiring a Dash 010 size rectangular-section seal in valves, fittings, or instrumentation assemblies.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, HVAC technician, or industrial mechanic. Always depressurize and isolate the system before removing the existing O-ring and inspect the seating groove for burrs or corrosion. PTFE O-rings require no lubrication in most chemical-service applications; verify compatibility of any lubricant used with both the PTFE material and the process media. Follow applicable codes including IPC or IFGC depending on the service type.
