The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCTFE211 is a Dash 211 PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) O-ring designed for static and dynamic sealing applications across a wide range of industries. It features a round cross section with an inside diameter of 0.796 inches, an outside diameter of 1.063 inches, and a thickness of 0.125 inches. The white thermoplastic fluoroethylene resin construction delivers chemical inertness, low friction, and a working temperature range of -300 degrees F to 500 degrees F. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance trades use PTFE O-rings where standard nitrile or EPDM compounds cannot withstand aggressive chemicals, high heat, or wide thermal cycling.
This O-ring is suited for sealing duties in systems that handle corrosive fluids, high-purity process lines, chemical feed equipment, and high-temperature plumbing assemblies. The Dash 211 sizing is a standard AS568 designation, making it a direct dimensional fit wherever that dash number is called out in OEM specifications or maintenance manuals. It is sold in a package quantity of 100, supporting stocking needs for service shops, maintenance departments, and contractors who perform recurring seal replacements.
Dimensionally compatible with any application calling for an AS568 Dash 211 O-ring with an inside diameter of 0.796 inches, outside diameter of 1.063 inches, and cross-section thickness of 0.125 inches. Consult equipment service documentation to confirm material suitability before installation.
PTFE O-rings are installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or industrial mechanics following lockout/tagout procedures and applicable codes such as the IPC or IFGC. Always depressurize and drain the system before removing or replacing any seal. Avoid using petroleum-based lubricants with PTFE seals; use a compatible assembly fluid or install dry where the application permits. Inspect the seating groove for burrs or corrosion before seating the new ring to prevent premature failure.
