The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCS70369 is a round cross-section silicone O-ring designed for static and dynamic sealing applications across a wide range of industrial and mechanical systems. With an 8-inch inside diameter, 8.375-inch outside diameter, and a thickness of 0.1875 inches, this is a Dash 369 standard-size seal. The silicone compound carries a hardness rating of 70 Shore A, which is considered hard and provides good dimensional stability under compression. Silicone material is selected specifically when a wide service temperature range is required, spanning from -80 degrees F to 450 degrees F, making it well suited for environments where standard nitrile or EPDM compounds would fail.
This O-ring is appropriate for use in HVAC equipment, plumbing assemblies, pump housings, fluid system manifolds, and general mechanical sealing where exposure to heat, ozone, or weather cycling is a factor. The silicone compound offers good dry heat and ozone resistance. It is sold individually and is suitable for one-for-one replacement of any Dash 369 O-ring of equivalent silicone material and hardness. Service technicians working on air handling units, compressor assemblies, or piping flanges will find this size relevant to large-bore sealing faces.
Designed as a standard Dash 369 silicone O-ring replacement suitable for any application requiring an 8-inch ID round cross-section seal with silicone material compatibility. Compatible materials include oils, chemicals, and solvents within the limits of silicone compound resistance.
O-ring installation should be performed by a qualified mechanic or technician after fully depressurizing and isolating the system being serviced. Inspect the groove for burrs, scoring, or debris before seating the new ring. Do not stretch the O-ring over sharp edges without a proper installation tool, and avoid twisting the cross-section during placement. Follow applicable system manufacturer torque specifications for any fasteners used to compress the sealing face.
