The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCQH70327 is a Dash 327 O-ring with an X-profile (quattro) cross section, manufactured from Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR). It measures 1.75 inches inside diameter, 2.125 inches outside diameter, and 0.1875 inches thick. The X-profile cross section provides four sealing lobes that reduce spiral twist and improve seal stability in dynamic and static applications compared to a standard round cross section. NBR compound delivers solid resistance to petroleum-based oils, fuels, and hydraulic fluids, making this O-ring a reliable choice for fluid sealing in HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Licensed trades and experienced technicians install this type of seal when servicing valves, fittings, pumps, and fluid-handling assemblies.
This O-ring is suited for static and low-speed dynamic sealing applications involving petroleum-based fluids, water, and common hydraulic media. Typical installations include valve stems, pump housings, pipe fittings, refrigerant service ports, and hydraulic manifold connections found in commercial and residential HVAC, plumbing, and general mechanical equipment. The NBR material performs across a broad service temperature range and is compatible with many common system fluids encountered in trade service work. This part is sold in packages of 25, making it practical for service fleets and shops that replace O-rings routinely during equipment maintenance cycles.
Designed as a standard Dash 327 replacement O-ring for static and dynamic sealing applications in HVAC, plumbing, hydraulic, and general mechanical equipment that require NBR material with an X-profile cross section at this dimensional size.
Installation is performed by licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, or qualified mechanics depending on the system being serviced. Always depressurize and isolate the system and drain or recover any fluid before removing the existing seal. Lubricate the O-ring lightly with a compatible fluid or O-ring lubricant before seating to prevent tearing during assembly. Do not over-stretch or roll the O-ring into the groove, as deformation will compromise the seal.
