The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCQH70015 is a Dash 015 O-ring with an X-profile cross section, manufactured from Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) at 70 Shore A durometer. It measures 0.563 inches inside diameter, 0.688 inches outside diameter, and 0.0625 inches thick. The quatrefoil X-shape cross section increases surface contact and sealing area compared to a standard round cross section, making it well-suited for dynamic and static sealing applications where a conventional O-ring may roll or twist in its groove. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and mechanical maintenance trades specify this size for fluid and gas sealing in a wide range of equipment.
This O-ring is used in hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, refrigeration, and general industrial sealing applications where NBR compounds are compatible with the working fluid. NBR offers strong resistance to petroleum-based oils, fuels, and many hydraulic fluids. The rated temperature range of -30 degrees F to 250 degrees F covers most residential and light commercial HVAC, plumbing, and fluid-handling scenarios. It is not recommended for use with ketones, strong acids, ozone-rich environments, or applications requiring FDA-compliant materials, as this part is not FDA approved.
Designed as a standard Dash 015 replacement O-ring for static and dynamic sealing grooves dimensioned to AS568 Dash 015 specifications in hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC, and plumbing assemblies where Nitrile Butadiene Rubber is compatible with the working fluid or gas.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or qualified mechanical maintenance personnel. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before removing any fittings or components that retain this O-ring. Inspect the groove for nicks, burrs, or debris before seating the new ring, and apply a compatible lubricant to ease installation and reduce the risk of tearing. Do not stretch the O-ring beyond its natural elasticity during installation, and confirm fluid compatibility with NBR before placing the assembly back in service.
