The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCN70010 is a Dash 010 neoprene O-ring designed for static and dynamic sealing applications across HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing systems. It measures 0.25 inches inside diameter, 0.375 inches outside diameter, and 0.0625 inches thick with a round cross section. The material carries a hardness rating of 70 Shore A, classifying it as hard. Neoprene construction provides moderate resistance to petroleum products, good ozone and weather resistance, and good compression set characteristics. This O-ring is well suited for sealing refrigeration fluids including Freon-type refrigerants. HVAC technicians, refrigeration mechanics, and plumbers install this part during system assembly, maintenance, and component replacement.
This O-ring fits a wide range of residential and light commercial refrigeration and HVAC applications where a Dash 010 seal is required. The neoprene compound performs reliably across a working temperature range of -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F, making it appropriate for refrigerant line connections, valve seats, and fittings in systems exposed to outdoor conditions or moderate chemical environments. The 100-piece package quantity supports service van stock and shop inventory for technicians handling frequent O-ring replacements.
Designed as a standard Dash 010 O-ring replacement for use in HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing fittings and valves that accept a 0.25 inches ID by 0.375 inches OD round cross section seal. Compatible material includes Freon-type refrigerants. Not FDA approved.
HVAC technicians and refrigeration mechanics should recover and isolate refrigerant before replacing O-rings in sealed systems, following EPA Section 608 requirements. Inspect the mating groove for damage or debris before seating the new O-ring. Apply a compatible lubricant sparingly to ease installation and prevent rolling or twisting of the ring during assembly. Avoid over-compression, which can cause premature sealing failure.
