The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCN70007 is a Dash 007 neoprene O-ring used to create reliable static and dynamic seals in refrigeration, HVAC, and general plumbing applications. The ring measures 0.156 inches inside diameter, 0.281 inches outside diameter, and 0.0625 inches thick, with a round cross-section profile. Rated for a hardness of 70 Shore A, this O-ring offers moderate resistance to petroleum products, good ozone and weather resistance, and is well suited for sealing refrigeration fluids. It is sold in a package of 100 pieces, making it practical for service technicians who replace these seals regularly during equipment maintenance or repair.
This O-ring is commonly used in residential and light commercial HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment, and fluid handling assemblies where neoprene elastomer is an approved sealing material. Its compatibility with Freon-type refrigerants makes it a common stock item for HVAC and refrigeration technicians performing compressor, valve, or line-set service work. The Dash 007 designation is a standard AS568 size reference, helping technicians quickly cross-reference and confirm fitment against OEM seal specifications during field or shop repairs.
Compatible with Freon refrigerants. Designed as a standard Dash 007 neoprene O-ring for use in refrigeration and HVAC sealing applications where neoprene elastomer is the specified material. Not FDA approved; not intended for food-contact or potable water applications.
Installation is typically performed by licensed HVAC technicians or refrigeration mechanics. De-energize and depressurize the system, and recover any refrigerant in accordance with EPA Section 608 requirements before removing seals. Inspect the seating groove for nicks or debris before installing the replacement O-ring, and apply a compatible lubricant to ease installation without overstretching the ring. Do not reuse O-rings removed during service disassembly.
