The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCN70006 is a Dash 006 neoprene O-ring designed for static and dynamic sealing applications in refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, and general mechanical systems. It measures 0.125 inches inside diameter, 0.25 inches outside diameter, and 0.0625 inches thick with a round cross section. Rated at 70 Shore A hardness, this O-ring provides a firm, reliable seal under compression. Neoprene construction offers moderate resistance to petroleum products, good ozone and weather resistance, and excellent compatibility with refrigeration fluids including Freon. Licensed HVAC technicians and plumbers most commonly install this size in refrigerant line fittings, valve stems, and small-diameter fluid connections.
The ZMSCN70006 is suited for residential and light commercial HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment, and plumbing assemblies where a small-diameter sealing element is required. Its operating temperature range spans -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F, making it appropriate for both low-temperature refrigeration circuits and standard hot-water plumbing service. Sold in a pack of 100, this O-ring is a practical shop-stock item for service technicians who regularly service refrigerant circuits, valve assemblies, and compression fittings.
Designed as a Dash 006 standard O-ring replacement for use in refrigerant fittings, valve stems, and small-diameter fluid connections where neoprene compound is specified.
Installation is performed by licensed HVAC technicians or plumbers depending on the system being serviced. Always recover refrigerant and depressurize the circuit before replacing O-rings in refrigerant-side components, following EPA Section 608 requirements. Shut off water supply and relieve pressure before servicing plumbing assemblies. Inspect the mating groove for burrs or scoring before seating the O-ring to avoid premature failure.
