The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH90920 is a Dash 920 O-ring manufactured from Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (Buna-N), the most widely used elastomer in fluid sealing applications. It measures 1.475 inches inside diameter, 1.711 inches outside diameter, and 0.118 inches in cross-section thickness. The compound is rated at 90 durometer, placing it in the extra-hard hardness category. This O-ring delivers strong resistance to petroleum-based fluids, excellent compression set performance, and solid tear and abrasion resistance. It is sold in a package quantity of 100 units, making it well suited for shop stock, service vehicles, and production line use. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial mechanics are the primary installers of this type of sealing component.
This O-ring is designed for use in systems that handle petroleum products, including hydraulic circuits, fuel systems, pneumatic assemblies, and general-purpose fluid-handling equipment. The Buna-N compound performs across a wide service temperature range of -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F, making it appropriate for both low-temperature outdoor environments and moderate-heat process applications. The round cross-section profile fits standard Dash 920 O-ring grooves as dimensioned by SAE and MIL-Spec standards. It is not FDA approved and should not be used in food-contact or potable water applications without verifying regulatory compliance. Avoid storing this material in direct sunlight or near motors and other equipment that may generate ozone, as ozone degrades Nitrile Butadiene Rubber over time.

Installation of O-rings in fluid systems should be performed by a qualified mechanic or technician familiar with the relevant system type. De-energize, depressurize, and drain the affected circuit before disassembly. Lubricate the O-ring lightly with a compatible fluid or assembly lubricant before seating it in the groove to prevent installation damage. Do not roll, twist, or pinch the O-ring during installation, as distortion can cause immediate or premature leakage.
