The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH90909 is a Dash 909 O-ring made from Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (Buna-N), one of the most widely used elastomers in fluid sealing applications. It measures 0.706 inches inside diameter, 0.900 inches outside diameter, and 0.097 inches thick, with a round cross section and a 90 durometer hardness rating classified as extra hard. The temperature range spans -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F, making it suitable for demanding service environments. Each package contains 100 pieces. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and fluid-system mechanics typically install these in hydraulic, pneumatic, and fuel-handling assemblies where a reliable static or dynamic seal is required.
This O-ring is well suited for residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC refrigerant circuits, hydraulic lines, and general industrial fluid systems that involve exposure to petroleum-based fluids and oils. Its Buna-N construction delivers excellent resistance to petroleum products, making it a standard choice for fuel fittings, valve stems, pump housings, and hydraulic cylinder end caps. The extra-hard 90 durometer compound resists extrusion under pressure, which is important in high-pressure hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies. Sold in a 100-piece pack to support service fleets, shop stock, and multi-unit repairs.
Designed for use with petroleum products and compatible fluids in standard Dash 909 groove dimensions across hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and HVAC applications. Not FDA approved; not intended for food-processing or potable-water contact service.
Depressurize and isolate the system before removing any fitting or component that contains an O-ring. Lightly lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid or O-ring lubricant before seating to prevent tearing during installation. Do not store Buna-N O-rings in direct sunlight or near motors and other electrical equipment that may generate ozone, as ozone degrades nitrile compounds. O-ring replacement in refrigerant circuits must be performed by an EPA Section 608 certified technician.
