The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH90347 is a Dash 347 O-ring made from Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (Buna-N), one of the most widely used elastomers in fluid sealing applications. It measures 4.25 inches inside diameter, 4.625 inches outside diameter, and 0.1875 inches thick, with a round cross section. Rated at 90 durometer (extra hard), this O-ring delivers excellent compression set resistance along with strong tear and abrasion resistance. It is suited for static and dynamic sealing applications where contact with petroleum-based fluids is expected. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and mechanical technicians regularly specify Buna-N O-rings for hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid system maintenance.
This O-ring is designed for use in systems handling petroleum products, hydraulic fluids, and similar media. The 90 durometer hardness rating makes it appropriate for higher-pressure or harder-wearing sealing environments. Its temperature range of -40 to 250 degrees F covers most standard industrial and HVAC-adjacent fluid system operating conditions. It is sold in a package quantity of 10, making it practical for service kits or bench stock. Avoid storing Buna-N O-rings in direct sunlight or near motors and electrical equipment that may generate ozone, as ozone exposure degrades the elastomer over time.
Compatible with petroleum products and petroleum-based fluid systems. Designed as a standard Dash 347 Buna-N O-ring replacement for hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and industrial fluid sealing applications requiring a 4.25 inches ID seal.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, pipefitter, or mechanical technician following applicable codes and the equipment manufacturer's service procedures. De-pressurize and drain the system before removing the old O-ring and installing the replacement. Lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid or O-ring lubricant before seating to reduce installation stress and avoid nicks or cuts. Do not use petroleum-incompatible lubricants or install the O-ring in systems outside its rated temperature or chemical compatibility range.
