The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH90337 is a Dash 337 O-ring manufactured from Buna-N (nitrile butadiene rubber), one of the most widely used elastomers in fluid sealing applications. It measures 3 inches inside diameter, 3.375 inches outside diameter, and 0.1875 inches (3/16 inches) thick with a round cross section. Rated at 90 Shore A durometer (extra hard), this O-ring delivers excellent resistance to petroleum-based fluids along with strong compression set, tear, and abrasion resistance. Each order includes 25 pieces. It is used by plumbers, HVAC technicians, hydraulic technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals in systems handling oils, fuels, and petroleum-derived media.
This O-ring is suited for static and dynamic sealing applications in residential and commercial environments where petroleum product exposure is a primary concern. Typical install scenarios include hydraulic fittings, fuel system connections, compressor assemblies, and pneumatic couplings. Its temperature rating of -40 to 250 degrees F makes it a reliable choice across a broad range of operating conditions. This O-ring does not carry FDA approval and should not be used in food-contact or potable water applications where such certification is required. Store away from direct sunlight, ozone sources, and electrical equipment that generates ozone.
Compatible with petroleum-based fluids and media. Designed for use in hydraulic, fuel, pneumatic, and general industrial sealing applications requiring a Dash 337 O-ring. Not compatible with ozone-heavy environments, strong oxidizing agents, or applications requiring FDA-approved elastomers.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or hydraulic system technicians. Always depressurize and de-energize the system before replacing any O-ring — confirm zero pressure and drain residual fluid from the line or fitting. Inspect the mating groove for burrs, corrosion, or debris before seating the new O-ring, and apply a compatible lubricant to ease installation and prevent twisting. Follow applicable codes such as IFGC or IPC for gas and plumbing assemblies, and consult system documentation for groove tolerances.
