The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH90336 is a Dash 336 O-ring manufactured from Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (Buna-N), one of the most widely used elastomers in fluid sealing applications. It measures 2.875 inches inside diameter, 3.25 inches outside diameter, and 0.1875 inches thick with a round cross section. Rated at 90 durometer (Extra Hard), this O-ring delivers strong compression set resistance along with excellent tear and abrasion resistance. It is designed for sealing applications involving petroleum-based fluids and carries both SAE and MIL-Spec compliance. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, hydraulic system specialists, and industrial maintenance professionals regularly work with this seal type.
This O-ring is suited for use in hydraulic cylinders, pneumatic assemblies, fluid connectors, pump housings, and valve bodies where petroleum-product exposure is expected. It performs across a temperature range of -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F, making it appropriate for both refrigerated and elevated-temperature service environments. The Buna-N compound resists degradation from oils, fuels, and many common lubricants. This pack contains 25 O-rings, supporting service stock and production environments where frequent changeouts are expected.
Compatible with petroleum-based products and fluids. Designed as a standard Dash 336 O-ring replacement for hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid-system applications requiring a Buna-N seal. Buna-N is not recommended for use with ozone, strong acids, ketones, esters, or brake fluids. Do not store near direct sunlight or ozone-generating equipment such as electric motors.
Installation should be performed by a qualified mechanic, plumber, or fluid systems technician familiar with O-ring sealing procedures. Always depressurize and isolate the system before removing or installing any seal. Inspect the gland and mating surfaces for nicks, burrs, or corrosion before fitting the new O-ring. Lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid or petroleum-based grease to ease installation and reduce the risk of damage during assembly.
