The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH90219 is a Dash 219 Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) O-ring engineered for sealing applications in fluid and pneumatic systems that involve petroleum-based media. It measures 1.313 inches inside diameter, 1.563 inches outside diameter, and 0.125 inches thick with a round cross-section. Rated at 90 durometer (extra hard), this O-ring delivers excellent compression set resistance and strong tear and abrasion resistance. It operates across a temperature range of -40 to 250 degrees F, making it suitable for a wide variety of industrial, HVAC, plumbing, and hydraulic service environments. Sold in a package of 50.
This O-ring is used wherever a Dash 219 size seal is required in systems handling petroleum products, hydraulic fluids, oils, or gases compatible with Buna-N elastomer. Common install scenarios include pump housings, valve bodies, fittings, manifolds, and fluid connectors in residential and commercial mechanical systems. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, pipefitters, and industrial maintenance trades regularly use this size in both new assemblies and field repairs. The 90 durometer hardness is well suited for higher-pressure applications where a softer O-ring would extrude or deform.
Compatible with petroleum products and fluids suited for Buna-N (Nitrile) elastomer. Designed as a standard Dash 219 O-ring replacement for pumps, valves, fittings, and fluid handling assemblies requiring a 1.313-inch ID seal. Not FDA approved. Should not be stored in direct sunlight or near motors or electrical equipment that may generate ozone.
O-ring installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, pipefitter, or HVAC technician familiar with the host system. Relieve all system pressure and drain fluid before removing or replacing O-ring seals. Lubricate the O-ring with a fluid compatible with Buna-N prior to installation to avoid tearing during seating. Inspect the groove and mating surfaces for damage or debris before installing the new seal.
