The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH90152 is a Dash 152 O-ring made from Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (Buna-N), designed for static and dynamic sealing applications in fluid and pneumatic systems. It measures 3.25 inches inside diameter, 3.4380 inches outside diameter, and 0.0937 inches thick with a round cross-section. Rated at 90 durometer (extra hard), it handles a working temperature range of -40 to 250 degrees F. Each order ships in a package of 50 units. Buna-N is the most widely used O-ring elastomer in trade applications, offering reliable resistance to petroleum-based fluids, strong compression set performance, and good tear and abrasion resistance.
This O-ring is suited for plumbing, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC service work where petroleum-based fluid sealing is required. The Dash 152 designation makes it a standard AS568 size, commonly encountered in pump fittings, valve bodies, cylinder heads, and fluid-line connections in both residential and light commercial systems. Technicians in HVAC, plumbing, and industrial maintenance will recognize this size in a wide range of service scenarios. It is not FDA approved and should not be used in food-contact or potable-water applications where NSF or FDA compliance is required.
Compatible with petroleum-based fluids and products. Designed as a standard Dash 152 O-ring replacement for use in hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and HVAC system components that accept an AS568-152 size seal. Not recommended for exposure to ozone, direct sunlight during storage, or contact with motors and other electrical equipment that may generate ozone.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or hydraulic system technicians depending on the application. Always depressurize and de-energize the system before disassembling any fitting or valve body. Inspect the mating groove for burrs, corrosion, or damage before seating the new O-ring, and apply a compatible lubricant to ease installation and prevent rolling. Do not stretch the O-ring over sharp edges without using an installation cone or smooth guide tool.
