The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH90133 is a Dash 133 O-ring manufactured from Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (Buna-N), the most widely used elastomer in fluid sealing applications. It measures 1.813 inches inside diameter by 2 inches outside diameter with a cross-section thickness of 0.103 inches. The compound is rated at 90 durometer, placing it in the extra-hard hardness category. The operating temperature range spans -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F, making it suitable for a broad range of service environments. Licensed tradespeople in plumbing, HVAC, and industrial piping specify this O-ring where reliable sealing against petroleum-based fluids and hydraulic media is required. Each package contains 50 pieces.
This O-ring is commonly installed in hydraulic fittings, pneumatic cylinders, fuel system connections, pumps, and valve bodies where petroleum product exposure is expected. Its Buna-N compound delivers excellent resistance to oils, fuels, and greases encountered in residential and commercial HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, and light industrial machinery. The round cross-section seats into standard Dash 133 groove geometry without modification. Technicians working on compressor assemblies, refrigerant oil circuits, and hydraulic manifolds will find this size and durometer appropriate for high-compression sealing applications.
Designed as a standard Dash 133 replacement O-ring compatible with petroleum-based fluid systems. Compatible materials include petroleum products as specified by the manufacturer. Not recommended for exposure to ozone, direct sunlight, or environments near motors or other electrical equipment that may generate ozone.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, HVAC technician, or mechanic following applicable system shutdown and pressure-relief procedures before breaking any fluid connection. Lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid or approved O-ring lubricant before seating to prevent tearing during assembly. Do not overstretch the O-ring during installation, and inspect the groove for burrs or contamination that could compromise the seal. Store unused O-rings away from direct sunlight, ozone sources, and electrical equipment to preserve elastomer integrity.
