The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH90127 is a Dash 127 O-ring manufactured from Buna-N (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber), the most widely used elastomer in industrial and fluid-handling sealing applications. It measures 1.438 inches inside diameter, 1.625 inches outside diameter, and 0.093 inches thick, with a round cross section. Rated at 90 durometer (extra hard), this O-ring delivers excellent compression set resistance along with strong tear and abrasion resistance. It performs across a temperature range of -40 to 250 degrees F, making it suitable for a broad range of service conditions. Installation is straightforward for plumbers, HVAC technicians, and maintenance mechanics familiar with standard O-ring groove dimensions.
This O-ring is designed for use in applications involving petroleum-based fluids, hydraulic oil, fuel systems, and general industrial fluid handling. It is commonly installed in pumps, valves, cylinders, fittings, and compression fittings across residential, commercial, and light industrial systems. The Buna-N compound is compatible with petroleum products and is frequently specified in HVAC refrigeration accessories, plumbing valves, and hydraulic equipment. Sold in a package quantity of 50, it is well-suited for shop stock, service van inventory, or job-lot replenishment.
Compatible with petroleum products and petroleum-based hydraulic fluids. Conforms to SAE and MIL-Spec standards for Dash 127 O-ring dimensions. Not recommended for storage in direct sunlight or near motors, generators, or other equipment that may produce ozone. Not FDA approved.
O-ring installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with the groove dimensions and sealing requirements of the target assembly. Always depressurize and de-energize the system before replacing any O-ring seal. Lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid or assembly lubricant before seating to prevent damage during installation. Avoid rolling or twisting the ring during placement, and inspect the groove for burrs or damage before reinstalling any mating components.
