The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH90119 is a Dash 119 nitrile butadiene rubber (Buna-N) O-ring used to create static and dynamic fluid seals in hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid-handling systems. It measures 0.938 inches inside diameter, 1.125 inches outside diameter, and 0.094 inches thick with a round cross section. Hardness is rated at 90 durometer, classifying it as extra hard — suited for higher-pressure applications where compression set resistance and dimensional stability matter. The operating temperature range runs from -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F. This SKU is packaged in quantities of 50, making it practical for shop stock or service van inventory managed by plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance trades.
Buna-N is the most widely used O-ring elastomer in trade work. This O-ring is well suited for sealing against petroleum-based fluids including hydraulic oils, fuels, and lubricants. It is used in valve bodies, pump housings, cylinder heads, fittings, and manifold assemblies across residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC refrigerant circuits using compatible media, and general industrial equipment. The Dash 119 designation follows the AS568 standard sizing series, making it straightforward to cross-reference against OEM seal kits and maintenance manuals that call out dash-number sizing.
Designed as an AS568 Dash 119 standard O-ring replacement compatible with petroleum-based fluid systems. Not FDA approved; do not use in potable water or food-contact applications. Avoid storage near direct sunlight, electric motors, or other ozone-generating equipment.
Power down and depressurize any hydraulic or pneumatic system fully before replacing O-ring seals. Plumbers and HVAC technicians should clean the gland groove and mating surfaces before installation to prevent contamination. Lightly lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid or grease before seating to reduce the risk of nicking or rolling during assembly. Never stretch the O-ring beyond its designed gland dimensions, as permanent deformation will compromise the seal.
