The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH90111 is a Dash 111 O-ring manufactured from Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (Buna-N), the most widely used elastomer in sealing applications across HVAC, plumbing, and fluid-handling systems. It measures 0.438 inches inside diameter, 0.625 inches outside diameter, and 0.094 inches thick, with a round cross-section and a Shore A hardness rating of 90 durometer (extra hard). The operating temperature range spans -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F, making it suitable for a broad range of service conditions. Licensed tradespeople working with refrigerant lines, hydraulic fittings, and petroleum-based fluid circuits will find this O-ring a standard-duty sealing solution.
This O-ring is commonly used in residential and light commercial HVAC equipment, plumbing shutoff valves, hydraulic couplings, and fuel system fittings where petroleum product compatibility is required. Its Buna-N compound delivers excellent resistance to petroleum-based fluids, strong compression set resistance, and solid tear and abrasion resistance. It is sold in packages of 100 units, suited for service fleets, supply house restocking, or technicians who replace O-rings as part of routine valve and fitting maintenance.
Compatible with petroleum products and hydraulic fluids. Designed as a standard Dash 111 O-ring replacement for use in HVAC valves, plumbing fittings, hydraulic couplings, and fuel system components where Buna-N elastomer is specified. Not FDA approved; not recommended for food-contact or ozone-heavy environments. Store away from direct sunlight, motors, and electrical equipment that may generate ozone.
Installation is typically performed by licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, or hydraulic system technicians. Before replacing an O-ring, shut off and depressurize the system completely and relieve any residual fluid pressure at the service point. Inspect the mating groove and seating surface for nicks or corrosion before seating the new O-ring. Consult applicable codes such as the International Plumbing Code or equipment manufacturer specifications for lubrication and torque guidance on the fitting or valve being serviced.
