The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH90026 is a Dash 026 O-ring made from Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (Buna-N), the most widely used elastomer in sealing applications. It measures 1.25 inches inside diameter, 1.375 inches outside diameter, and 0.0625 inches thick with a round cross section. Rated at 90 Shore A durometer (extra hard), this O-ring delivers excellent compression set resistance along with strong tear and abrasion resistance. The temperature range spans -40 to 250 degrees F, making it suitable for a broad range of fluid system service conditions. Sold in a package of 100. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and hydraulic system technicians are the typical end users.
This O-ring is designed for use in petroleum-based fluid systems including hydraulic circuits, fuel lines, pneumatic fittings, and general plumbing connections. The Buna-N compound provides excellent resistance to petroleum products, oils, and fuels, making it a standard choice in residential, commercial, and light industrial maintenance applications where hydrocarbon fluid compatibility is required. It is not recommended for use in ozone-rich environments or with chlorinated solvents; avoid storing near motors or electrical equipment that may generate ozone, and keep away from direct sunlight during storage.
Compatible with petroleum products, hydraulic oils, and fuels. Conforms to SAE and MIL-Spec dimensional standards for Dash 026 O-rings, allowing use as a replacement seal in hydraulic fittings, pneumatic components, plumbing valves, and other fluid system hardware requiring a 1.25-inch ID round-section O-ring.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or hydraulic system technicians. Always depressurize and drain the system before removing or installing O-ring seals to prevent injury and contamination. Lightly lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid or grease before seating to prevent pinching or tearing during assembly. Do not stretch the O-ring beyond its natural diameter or twist it during installation, as either condition can cause premature seal failure.
