The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH90011 is a Dash 011 nitrile butadiene rubber (Buna-N) O-ring used to create leak-tight seals in fluid and pneumatic systems. It measures 0.313 inches inside diameter, 0.438 inches outside diameter, and 0.0625 inches thick with a round cross section. The compound is rated at 90 durometer, placing it in the extra-hard hardness range, which suits high-pressure sealing applications. The temperature range runs from -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and mechanical contractors install these rings wherever petroleum-based fluids or general hydraulic media are present.
This O-ring fits sealing grooves machined to Dash 011 dimensions per SAE and MIL-Spec standards. Typical applications include valve stems, fitting connections, pump housings, and refrigeration service fittings in residential and light commercial systems. The Buna-N elastomer compound offers strong resistance to petroleum products, good compression set performance, and solid tear and abrasion resistance, making it a standard choice across plumbing, HVAC, and general industrial maintenance work. These are sold in a package quantity of 100 units.
Compatible with petroleum products and general hydraulic media. Meets SAE and MIL-Spec standards for Dash 011 O-ring groove dimensions. Not suitable for direct sunlight exposure during storage or use near ozone-generating equipment such as motors or electrical devices. Not FDA approved.
Licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians typically install O-rings as part of valve, fitting, or pump service work. Shut off fluid supply and relieve system pressure completely before disassembling any joint or fitting. Lightly lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid or grease before seating it in the groove to prevent tearing during assembly. Do not roll or twist the ring during installation, and inspect the groove for burrs or damage before reuse.
