It measures 0.25 inches inside diameter, 0.375 inches outside diameter, and 0.0625 inches thick with a round cross section. Rated at 90 durometer (extra hard), it handles a temperature range of -40 to 250 degrees F. Buna-N is the most widely used O-ring elastomer in trade applications, valued for its excellent resistance to petroleum products, strong compression set performance, and solid tear and abrasion resistance. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial mechanics reach for this material first when sealing petroleum-based fluid or refrigerant-side connections.

Installation Notes
