The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH90009 is a Dash 009 Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR/Buna-N) O-ring sized at 0.219 inches inside diameter, 0.343 inches outside diameter, and 0.0625 inches (1/16 inch) thick. Rated at 90 durometer (extra hard), this O-ring delivers excellent resistance to petroleum-based fluids, making it the most widely used elastomer across HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, and fluid-handling applications. The round cross-section profile seats cleanly in standard grooves and maintains reliable compression set across a working temperature range of -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and mechanical contractors stock these for routine service and repair work.
This O-ring is suited for use in residential and light commercial HVAC systems, plumbing assemblies, refrigeration lines, hydraulic connections, and general mechanical fluid-sealing applications where petroleum-product compatibility is required. The black Buna-N compound resists tear and abrasion under typical system pressures. Sold in a package quantity of 100, this SKU is practical for shop stock, service vans, or production-volume maintenance programs. Meets SAE and MIL-Spec standards.
Designed as a standard Dash 009 O-ring replacement compatible with petroleum-based fluid systems; verify groove dimensions against 0.219 inches ID, 0.343 inches OD, and 0.0625 inches cross-section thickness before installation.
Installation is performed by licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, or qualified mechanical technicians. Shut off all fluid supply and relieve system pressure completely before removing the existing O-ring. Lightly lubricate the O-ring with a compatible petroleum-based or system-approved lubricant before seating to prevent pinching or tearing. Do not store unused O-rings in direct sunlight or near motors or other electrical equipment that may generate ozone, as this degrades the elastomer.
